While we wait for the coldest air in 15 years to rush into South Florida later this weekend, it has been a gloomy Wednesday. These clouds will clear out overnight, allowing for a sunny Thursday. This will help temperatures rise to around 70 degrees in the afternoon, which is still well below average for this time of year.
All eyes are on an Arctic cold front moving in Saturday afternoon. Temperatures will climb into the upper 60s by noon before the front arrives, then plunge by late afternoon and evening. We’ll be around 37 degrees Sunday morning, with dangerous wind chills in the 20s. Highs will only reach the 50s. Expect another similarly frigid morning Monday.
