We’re in the middle of our long holiday weekend and it looks like a breezy, warm Sunday here in South Florida.
Rain chances are a low 10% today but go up to 20% tonight and early tomorrow as a weak cold front moves through. Most of the energy with the front will remain north of us so only a few insignificant showers are likely with no impact on our ongoing drought.
Sadly, that’ll be our only chance of rain through the upcoming week and as temperatures soar into the middle 80s this week the drought will grow even worse. Watch out for a high risk of rip currents at the beaches today and tomorrow and a small craft advisory is in effect for the boaters too.
