Look for near-record highs this weekend, with temperatures topping out in the mid to upper 80s both days. There’s a slight chance of rain Sunday afternoon as a cold front moves through South Florida. This front is part of a system that will bring blizzard conditions to the northeastern U.S. Sunday night and Monday. Significant travel delays are likely across the country due to snowy weather in New York and Boston. That front will drop our lows into the lower 40s by Tuesday morning, so Old Man Winter isn’t done with us just yet. It will remain chilly through midweek before we bounce back into the 70s and lower 80s by the end of next week. There’s still no significant rain in our forecast over the next five to seven days.
