Feb. 23: Brush Fire Warning is in effect until 7 p.m. in South Florida

A strong cold front moved through last night and dropped us to around 50 degrees this morning.

Temperatures will struggle to rebound this afternoon to the low to mid-60s, even with full sunshine all day.

Relative humidity will drop to around 20% along with 25-30 mph wind gusts from the north.

This is a textbook setup for brush fires across South Florida.

The core of the cold will move in on Tuesday morning with lows around 42 degrees.

Wind chills will drop to the 30s. Highs will stay in the 60s again.

A gradual warming trend will be the story for the rest of the week, as we reach the 80s again in a few days.

Even some thunderstorms are in the forecast into Friday, which will hopefully bring parts of South Florida some much-needed rainfall.
