Florida Highway Patrol troopers, Broward Sheriff's Office deputies, and fire rescue personnel responded to a crash on Thursday afternoon on the southbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike near Sunrise Boulevard in Broward County.

The weather remains mostly dry for South Florida Thursday night.

Miami-Dade and Broward counties can expect scattered clouds and light, southeast winds. Temperatures are forecast to drop to the mid and upper 60s overnight.

Friday will bring a sun/cloud mix and gentle, southeast winds. There may be a few afternoon showers, particularly in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Temperatures will make a run for the mid 80s!
