With a warm weekend in the forecast, you might be inclined to head to the beach, but be careful, as easterly winds will bring a high risk of rip currents, so stay close to lifeguard stations. Otherwise, the weather looks great, with only a few isolated showers rolling in off the ocean with those easterly winds. Highs will reach the mid-80s today and tomorrow, with rain chances at 20% or less. Our next best chance of rain arrives later next week as a front now in the middle of the country approaches South Florida. Models suggest the front could stall, which would boost our rain chances by next Thursday and Friday — fingers crossed on that!
