It’s a quiet start to the work week without much rain. Perhaps a stray light shower along the coast, but nearly all of us will be dry the next few days. Highs will reach around 84° each afternoon. The pattern does not change until a front moves into South Florida and stalls out. This won’t bring us any cooler weather, but it will have big changes to our rain chances.
Starting late Thursday, we will have the chance of scattered thunderstorms. This will continue at times into the weekend. Some rain could be heavy with parts of South Florida picking up several inches of it into next week. This is our first opportunity in a while to have a big impact to the ongoing severe to extreme drought.
