It’s another quiet day with just a stray sprinkle or two off the water. Nearly everyone will be dry on the eastern coast of South Florida with the storms staying on the Naples side. Even with a breeze off the water it will be hot for March standards with temperatures around 84°. This will be the same forecast over the next couple days.
Big changes are on the way starting Friday. We will begin a daily chance of thunderstorms, which could be widespread and heavy at times. Have a backup ready if your plans take you outside this weekend, although the storms will be scattered and will not last all day. This will bring us several inches of much needed rain and I expect some improvement to our severe/extreme drought into next week.
