The weekend will be a soggy one, at times, for South Florida.

There could be some spotty showers in the mix Friday night. Otherwise, clouds linger over Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Saturday morning may feature a few showers in the area. By late afternoon, scattered storms should be expected.

Sunday also will bring rain with showers possible in the morning, followed by soaking, afternoon storms. Wet weather could even linger into the evening.

Parts of metro/coastal Miami-Dade and Broward could get 2 to 4 inches of rain through the weekend. There may be some isolated areas that top four inches!

High temperatures are forecast to reach the low 80s, lows around 70°F.
