March 26: Scattered showers expected on Thursday; wetter and windy conditions expected this weekend

We had a stray shower or two move through the morning, but just about everyone will stay dry on Thursday. Conditions will be similar to Wednesday, with highs in the low to mid-80s. On Friday, a small batch of showers in the Bahamas will move our way. Coverage will be around 30%, mostly in the morning through early afternoon. It should be mostly dry late Friday afternoon into the evening.

A weakening front will move in from the north this weekend, increasing our chance of showers, particularly on Sunday. The heaviest rain is expected along the I-95 corridor, with 1–3 inches possible. It will also turn windy, with gusts in excess of 30 mph possible on Sunday. This will create 8–12 ft seas and very high surf at the beaches.
