We’ve been getting some persistent showers along the coast but some inland sunshine will lead to heating and instability in the atmosphere. This will fuel more strong thunderstorms late this afternoon and into tonight. Some could be strong with gusty winds and small hail. Any slow-moving thunderstorms that produce 2-4” of rain could cause flooding.
We will still have some thunderstorms developing on Thursday, just fewer of them. That will be the trend into the weekend. By Saturday we will be mostly dry with just a stray light shower off the water. It’s looking like a beautiful weekend with seasonable highs in the low 80s.
