Finally some improvement in our weather! After a week of rain, the last of the showers will be rolling through today with drier air taking hold by the weekend. Unfortunately, the high pressure system near North Carolina that’ll be drying things out for us will also get us strong winds off the ocean, leading to a very high risk of rip currents through early next week. So if you’re headed to the beach, stay out of the water! Once this dry air takes hold, it’ll be with us through at least the middle of next week with any new weather systems being blocked from moving in. Highs near 80 today and through the weekend will rise into the middle 80s next week under lots of mid-April sunshine.
