It’s another windy day with gusts 25-30 mph, but expect big improvement over the next couple days. Temperatures are running a little below average in the low 80s along with low humidity. Both of these will change in the coming days.

A warming trend starts Friday with afternoon temperatures reaching the middle 80s this weekend. Into early next work week, the hottest air of the year is on the way with the low 90s in the forecast starting Tuesday.

In terms of rain, we could get a stray shower or two off the water on Thursday. A weak disturbance will pass by the Florida Keys on Friday with a high chance of downpours down there. Meanwhile, any showers around Miami-Dade or Broward Counties are expected to remain spotty.
