April 26: Storms fade tonight; hotter, wetter pattern returns Monday with highs nearing 90

Evening storms will continue to come to an end. Clouds will break apart, and we can expect mostly dry conditions tonight. Lows will continue to fall into the lower 70s.

Monday will feature above normal temperatures in the upper 80s. With the heating of the day, additional showers will fire off by the afternoon. Expect storms to bring gusty winds and moments of heavy rainfall.

Showers will give way to hot highs by the middle and end of the week. Highs will soon soar to 90 degrees. The last time South Florida experienced temperatures this hot was back in October 2025.
