April 29: Dry and very warm with the chance for brushfire smoke Thursday

The weather remains dry across South Florida Wednesday night. Miami-Dade and Broward counties can expect scattered clouds and light, southwest winds overnight with temperatures forecast to dip to the mid 70s.

Thursday will bring plenty of sunshine and, perhaps, the hottest day of the year so far with a high of 90°F forecast for Miami.

South-southwest winds, sustained 10 to 15 mph, could direct smoke from the Highway 41 brushfire toward metro Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
