Happy Friday! It’s going to be a muggy start with lows in the 70s and 80s. Highs today will be nearing records in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and the Keys. Dry conditions and partly to mostly sunny skies prevail, with a few stray showers and storms possible over the weekend. Unseasonable, dangerous heat could be possible this weekend as temperatures are forecast to reach the low 90s, with heat indices in the triple digits. Mother’s Day will be hot and humid with a stray shower. Moderate to extreme heat risk conditions are possible Saturday-Sunday afternoon. The next best chance for showers will be Monday.
