This Mother’s Day brought another round of sizzling heat. With a high of 91 degrees, it felt more like 99 in Miami, with some areas feeling even hotter.
Inland evening showers are expected to diminish overnight, with hot temperatures set to soar again Monday. As winds continue blowing out of the southeast, a few showers could move onshore during the morning commute.
Additional showers and storms are expected to develop inland again with the daytime heating. Some storms could produce gusty winds.
Rain chances are expected to increase Tuesday as showers are fueled by a front moving southward before stalling. Temperatures will moderate into the upper 80s by Wednesday.
