It’s another quiet weather day with only an isolated shower or two moving onshore. Most will stay dry. Rain chances will be slightly higher for the holiday weekend with a few showers and thunderstorms at times. It still looks good for outdoor plans, but don’t be surprised if a shower interrupts every once in a while. You’ll also have to beat the heat with highs around 90°. Factor in the humidity and the heat index will be near 100°.

This pattern will continue into early next week but a change is expected mid-week. A strong river of moisture will move in from the Caribbean with the threat for heavy rainfall the second half of next week. We can pin down the details as we get closer.
