June 11: Drier than normal pattern persists across South Florida

It’s another mostly dry day with only a few showers around, mainly in the Florida Keys. Any afternoon pop up thunderstorms will be too far to the west in the Everglades. Temperatures will be near 90° which is typical for this time of the year. We will have a higher chance of running into occasional thunderstorms this weekend into early next week. High temperatures will be slightly warmer in the low 90s. Factor in the humidity and it will feel like the low 100s.
