We have spotty showers and thunderstorms moving through South Florida Friday morning through midday. As we get deeper into the afternoon, most of these will shift west into the Everglades and we will be drier. High temperatures will reach the low 90s after these spotty storms move west, but when you factor in the humidity, heat indices will reach 100-105 degrees.
The pattern for the weekend will be overnight thunderstorms that last into the morning. The afternoons and early evenings will be drier. Expect similar heat on Friday.
