July 12: Warm start to week ahead

After an afternoon with blazing highs in the mid-90s and feels like temperatures in the triple digits, temperatures will remain warm throughout the night. Lows will fall into the lower 80s.

Monday will feature similar conditions. I am forecasting a high of 95° with it feeling like 105°. A heat advisory will be likely yet again across South Florida Monday. Showers will be limited as Saharan Dust prevails. Nonetheless, we will watch for a few isolated showers to pop inland while most of the metro will remain dry. Elevated temperature will remain on tap all week long.
