A man was rushed to a hospital Tuesday afternoon after he was shocked by a live electrical wire while performing yard work in the backyard of a home in Opa-locka, authorities said.

As showers and storms fade over the Everglades Tuesday evening, Miami-Dade and Broward counties can expect lingering clouds with the slight chance for a random shower or two as the night unfolds.

Wednesday will offer a cloud/sun mix and gentle, east-southeast winds. Showers and storms will be possible, particularly mid-morning and early afternoon. Temperatures are forecast to reach the low 90s.
