A heat advisory is back in the forecast today between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. as the “feels like” will be between 105-110 degrees, especially away from the beaches.
Other than a few passing showers this morning, I don’t expect any cooling showers or storms today so stay hydrated and get in the air conditioning as often as possible.
Rain chances are well below normal through the upcoming week only in the 20% range each day as a plume of Saharan dust arrives and dries things out.
The “dog days” are definitely here however with highs into the middle 90s this week so it’ll be hot and humid for back to schoolers! Watch out for a high risk of rip currents at the beaches today.
