The pattern is on repeat with another round of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Some of these could even last past sunset into tonight. Any areas that get 2-3″ in a short time could see minor flooding. Don’t be surprised to see a few flood advisories issued for those areas. High temperatures will only reach around 90°, which is around average for this time of the year.

Very high levels of atmospheric moisture near record levels will linger into the holiday weekend. It does not appear to be a complete washout from start to finish, but expect rounds of thunderstorms with dry time in between.
