Similar to the last few days, morning sunshine warming us up near 90° will help fire up another round of afternoon storms. Most spots will get rain at some point, but the heaviest could linger over a few areas and produce several inches of rain. These pockets are where we could get some additional flooding. Some storms could also produce strong wind gusts, intense lightning, and even small hail.

We will have a chance for storms all week, although later this week we should see fewer of them with some drier air trying to sneak in. This could lower humidity slightly for next weekend, but it won’t be much.
