We still have some reports of minor flooding from clogged drains around the area, but the rain this morning has been mostly light to moderate. This will continue at times this afternoon with a few scattered downpours. We will still have some thunderstorms for the rest of the work week, but there will be fewer of them. Their movement will be faster so the flooding threat stays away.

The bigger story for South Florida is a weak front making its way through for the weekend. It’s too early for a major fall front, but this one will at least lower humidity a notch or two. It will feel noticeably nicer out, even in the temperatures are still well into the 80s during the day. We could reach the low 70s at night.
