HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — Nestled in the heart of Hollywood, Ren Coffee Cart is brewing more than just coffee — it’s creating a social media sensation.
The pop-up, located inside Alley Cats vintage clothing store on Stirling Road, has quickly attracted fans eager to try its inventive drinks, from a cinnamon roll-inspired latte to a salted pistachio matcha.
“I’m very passionate about coffee and matcha,” said owner Lani Bond, who grew up working in local coffee shops.
Bond told Local 10 News that dreaming up her own recipes and creating something original is what she always wanted to do.
Ren Coffee Cart started as a small operation run by Bond and her brother, often working 12-hour days six days a week.
The venture took off after Bond began posting her creations online.
“It was kind of slow in the beginning, but the community that we’ve built has been the most important thing for us,” she said.
The pop-up’s location inside Alley Cats adds to its appeal.
The vintage store, which offers access to millions of pounds of clothing on the West Coast, gives visitors plenty to explore while they wait for their drinks.
Ren Coffee Cart sources its matcha directly from Uji, Japan, one of the world’s top matcha-producing regions.
Though still hunting for a permanent location, Ren Coffee Cart continues to thrive in Hollywood, combining artisanal drinks with a unique shopping experience and proving that old and new can work hand in hand.
