House music icon Crystal Waters is set to perform in Miami as part of a one-night-only experience, blending her signature sound with a live orchestra.

The performance, which has debuted overseas and in New York, brings a new twist to her classic catalog.

“I’ve been coming to Miami Music, well it was called Miami Music Conference since ‘91, so it feels like home. I love Miami,” Waters said.

She added that the city’s music scene continues to influence her work, explaining that experiencing music in different environments shapes her sound.

“When you go out and you hang out, the music always affects you,” she said. “It’s nice to come to Miami to hear the sound.”

The performance will feature a full orchestra and a lineup of artists joining Waters to reimagine dance classics.

“We have the best house music singers there are,” Waters said. “It’s an orchestra and we’re doing the dance classics.”

Waters, known for hits such as “Gypsy Woman (She’s homeless),” has long been a defining voice in house music and remains a staple of the genre decades into her career.

Her new single, “Still in Love,” is set for release next month, with her first album in more than two decades expected this spring.

Fans can catch her live performance at the James L. Knight Center. Click here for more information on how to purchase tickets.
