MIAMI — There’s a new experience in Miami that takes you way beyond the bar scene.

At Tequila Town, you can travel through history, culture...and yes...tequila!

At Tequila Town, patrons are invited on a full-on journey to Mexico with snacks and plenty of photo ops in the 25,000-square-foot space, along with tequila – all without ever leaving the 305.

At the venue, you’re taken on a train ride through history, learning how tequila goes from agave to glass, with more than 10 immersive rooms.

Every turn feels like a new chapter.

“Tequila Town is our love letter to Mexico,” co-founder Danie Gomez-Ortigoza said. “In a time when so many things are happening, we want to showcase our culture from a very special perspective, which is the history of tequila. Tequila comes from the agave plant. And the agave plant is something that is extremely magical.”

And this place? It’s more than just pretty backdrops. It’s rooted in tradition.

“The beauty about Mexican culture is we drink to remember,” Gomez-Ortigoza said.

From historic distilleries to vibrant marketplaces filled with food, music and, of course, plenty of tequila, which isn’t just a drink.

“It’s actually a region in Mexico in Jalisco. And so, we basically recreated this town,” Gomez-Ortigoza said.

When you make your way to the market, there are characters you’ll meet along the way.

“Just get ready to feel like you’ve been transported in time,” Gomez-Ortigoza said. “And you’re being transported to this very special place in Mexico where surprises will come at you from unexpected places all the time. You will have delicious food and you will drink the best tequila.”

Tickets to Tequila Town range from about $80 to over $150, depending on the day and time.

There are also select nights where you can host private events.

But Tequila Town is here for a limited time. Their last day will be Cinco de Mayo!
