MIAMI — From high-end dining pop-ups to all-night parties and viral food trends, Formula One’s Miami Race Week is bringing a full slate of events across the city this weekend, turning into a nonstop hub of entertainment tied to the Miami Grand Prix.
One of the biggest daytime attractions is the Family Style Food Festival, taking over Wynwood for a one-day celebration of food, fashion and culture. The event features top chefs, local favorites and free general admission.
At night, the city shifts into party mode.
Nightclub E11EVEN Miami, which is known for operating around the clock, is hosting a lineup that includes Snoop Dogg and Afrojack during race week.
Queen Miami Beach is launching “Maxim Miami Race Nights” in partnership with Maxim Magazine, turning its two-story dining space into a nightlife experience with DJs performing late into the night.
Carbone Beach is also returning, offering a luxury “supper club on the sand” experience with high-profile guests and upscale dining.
But one of the most talked-about attractions is a returning viral food item that gained attention during the Miami Open — the $100 “Golden Glizzy.”
“We’re going to have a lot of people coming in from different parts of the world that weren’t able to try it,” said Mario Naar, owner of Chevre Miami.
When asked about the item’s popularity, Nair said, “Who hasn’t tried the golden glizzy at this point, it was (Rick) Ross, (Aryna) Sabalenka.”
The luxury hot dog-inspired dish, along with a new $125 version dubbed the “Gold Digger,” features wagyu, truffle and caviar.
“You guys can try it at any one of our stores in Miami, Nair added. ”This is the last week we’re going to be offering the glizzy and the sandwich, and then we’re putting them six feet under.”
With the Miami Grand Prix underway, organizers say the week continues to draw international crowds, blending motorsport, food and nightlife into one of the city’s busiest event stretches of the year.
