Below is a list of places recently ordered shut by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

Caribbean Kitchen 305 had a trifecta when the inspector noted rodent, roach and flying insect issues.

“Rodent activity present as evidenced by rodent droppings found. Observed approximately 15 rodent droppings by the reach in freezer in the back storage room.”

“Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found. Observed 1 live roach crawling on top of the hot water heater located in the back storage area.”

“Dead roaches on premises. Observed 4 dead roaches in the back storage area and 1 dead roach under the three compartment sink.”

“Live, small flying insects in kitchen, food preparation area, food storage area and/or bar area. Observed approximately 30 flies on the ceiling by the back storage area on top of the mop sink.”

“Stop Sale issued on time/temperature control for safety food due to temperature abuse. Observed rice and bean mix (58F - Cooling), macaroni and cheese (62F - Cooling); cooked chicken (46F - Cooling); goat (46F - 52F - Cooling) stored in the reach in cooler overnight, as per operator.”

“No plan review submitted and approved - renovations were made or are in progress.”

Main kitchen office table at Co2 tanks-observed 13 live flying insects flying around co2, tanks, and landing on wall and clean apron. Main kitchen single storage and clean utensil shelf- observed 74 live flying insects flying around shelves and landing on clean service utensils, cases of single service bags, spoons, wall and ceiling. Prep sink drain-observed 7 live flying insects flying around drains. Main kitchen Mop sink- observed 8 live flying insects flying around mop at mop sink. Main kitchen raw chicken prep station- observed 7 live flying insects landing on bottom of prep shelf over open egg batter, seasoned flour and raw chicken.”
