Grand Café on Duval Street in Key West was forced to close after inspectors uncovered an alarming rodent infestation.

Rodent droppings were scattered throughout the kitchen.

Inspectors also found bite marks on a 10-pound bag of pasta and droppings inside food containers.

Inspectors also found troubling pest activity inside New Wave Billiards, prompting an immediate shutdown.

A live rat was discovered stuck to a glue trap in the kitchen, and roaches were crawling behind equipment and clustered on another trap nearby.

Below are the full violations documented by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

No kitchens in Broward County were ordered shut last week.

All the places mentioned were allowed to re-open following an ordered clean up and then a re-inspection.
