Golfer spots massive gator on Florida golf course

PUNTA GORDA, Fla. – A golfer captures cell phone video of a nearly 10-foot-long alligator on a golf course near Punta Gorda.

He was spotted at a course at a Country Club in Rotunda west and golfers said he took his time strolling across the green.

According to the golfer who caught the goliath gator on camera, you can see a tooth stuck in its jaw which experts say is a sign that mating season is in full swing.

According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife website, mating season begins in early April, and mating occurs in May or June.
