Disney set to debut drone show at Disney Springs

ORLANDO, Fla. – Disney is adding to their nighttime spectaculars, but this time with drones.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, “Disney Dreams That Soar presented by AT&T” drone show will begin on Friday, May 24 over Disney Springs.

800 drones will be included in the show and will create a massive canvas in the night sky.

Drones magically form various Disney characters in the sky, including Baymax from Disney’s “Big Hero 6,” during testing in France of the new nighttime show coming to Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. later this month. Classic Disney characters including Dumbo and even Baymax.

The show will be just under 10 minutes long and will take place twice every night at the open-air mall this Summer through Sept. 2.
