BRADENTON, Fla. — Acclaimed wildlife photographer Sheri Nadelman was walking her doodles in Bradenton last week when she got a call about a soccer pitch invader like we’ve never seen before.
An alligator had somehow become tangled in the netting of a soccer goal at a park in Manatee County.
Four sheriff’s deputies responded and worked to free the beast from its tight spot.
It took a while, but they were able to wrap its snout and safely take it away.
After freeing the wayward reptile, it was relocated to the nearby Manatee River.
