A look at DeSantis’s new redistricting map: Changes from 2022 to 2026

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida’s 2022 redistricting map, based on the U.S. Census, defined the 2024 election.

Florida Republicans recently pushed for redistricting before the next U.S. Census in 2030.

The Florida legislature approved a map from the Executive Office of Gov. Ron DeSantis released in 2026 that will define the next elections.
