Miami Beach police arrest two people after finding stolen gun inside illegally parked vehicle

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Police in Miami-Dade County arrested two people who are now facing felony charges after locating multiple firearms inside an illegally parked vehicle.

According to Miami Beach police, officers noticed an occupied car along Washington Ave. that was parked in a bike lane.

After approaching the vehicle, officers said they noticed a firearm inside.

Following a brief investigation, two men were arrested and charged with multiple felonies. They have been identified as Johnny Jean, 19, and Robert Perry, 21.

Two firearms were found inside the vehicle, one of which had been reported stolen. Police also said there was suspected crack-cocaine inside the vehicle.

Police said Jean was already on probation for burglary; he was wearing an ankle monitor and had a ski mask in his possession at the time of his arrest.
