Man accused of reaching into car to touch victim sexually without permission in Broward

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – A 33-year-old man who required a Haitian Creole interpreter in court was accused of reaching through a window and into a car to sexually abuse a victim in Broward County.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested James Valsaint on Friday after the victim reported the attack that a prosecutor described in court on Saturday as an attempted sexual assault.

Valsaint appeared before Broward County Circuit Judge Elijah Williams who found probable cause for a charge of burglary with assault or battery and denied him bond.

Williams ordered Valsaint to have “no contact” with the victim.
