Ryan Routh, the man accused of trying to assassinate President Trump, will stand trial Monday.

Jury selection is set to begin at a federal courthouse in Fort Pierce, and Routh intends to represent himself.

The 59-year-old is accused of trying to shoot Trump while he played golf last September.

Secret Service noticed the muzzle of a rifle poking through the bushes, and after an agent fired, investigators say Routh ran off.

He left his rifle, backpacks and scope behind.

Ahead of his trial, bizarre court documents were written and submitted by Routh, who is representing himself.

The documents were riddled with misspellings and rambling.

One said: “A round of golf with the racist pig, he wins he can execute me. I win I get his job.”

Another said: “Judge I beg of you to please Subpoena every single person that had something negative to say about Ryan Routh, please put them on the stand under oath and lets see who lies.”

Routh is charged with attempted assassination of a major presidential candidate, possessing a firearm to carry out a violent crime, assaulting a federal officer, felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.

If convicted, he faces up to life in prison.

Jury selection is expected to begin Monday, and that could last three days with openings slated for Thursday.
