Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill questioned about domestic violence allegations involving estranged wife

Amid divorce, Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill responds to Keeta Hill’s domestic violence claims Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill faced questions Friday about newly surfaced domestic violence allegations.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill faced questions Friday about newly surfaced domestic violence allegations tied to his divorce from his estranged wife, Keeta Hill.

The 31-year-old offered little beyond short responses and a denial released earlier this week through his attorney.

TMZ reported earlier in the week that court documents related to Hill’s divorce included eight allegations of domestic violence against him . In response, Hill’s attorney issued a statement denying the claims.

Speaking to reporters at the Dolphins training facility, Hill was asked directly about the accusations.

“No, no, no, man,” Hill said when pressed on the allegations.

When asked if he had been in contact with the NFL, Hill responded: “No, I haven’t.”

Hill was also asked if he remained happy in Miami and wanted to stay with the team this season.

“Can I no comment too? Like I said, man, I’m blessed to be here, each and every day,” Hill said. “I don’t take lightly. I’m going to continue to work my tail off. So at this point, whatever happens happens. I’m happy here. I would love to be here. You know my family is here. My kids are here, so.”

The off-field headlines add to what has already been a turbulent stretch for Hill and the Dolphins.

Hill said he was “out” after the final game of last season, later working to repair relationships with teammates, including quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Miami was blown out 33-8 in its Week 1 game vs. Indianapolis this season, prompting a players-only meeting.

The Dolphins host the New England Patriots in their home opener Sunday, followed by a Thursday night matchup at Buffalo.
