According to Miami Springs police, Luis Angel Lorenzo-Calvino, 26, was arrested Monday on charges of grand theft from the curtilage of a dwelling, possession of crystal methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use, and resisting an officer with violence.

His accomplice, Tania Blanco, 38, was arrested last Wednesday, less than 15 hours after a victim reported that a blonde thief had stolen a package from their doorstep, authorities said.

According to police, Blanco had 5 grams of meth in the car when officers found her and arrested her.

Miami Springs police credited the Hialeah Police Department, an alert neighbor, and surveillance video with helping to solve the case.

Local 10 News has requested Lorenzo-Calvino’s arrest report.

Online jail records show that as of Tuesday afternoon, he was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. He will not be able to post bond in the case as he is also being held on an out-of-county warrant.
