COCONUT CREEK, Fla. — A Missing Child Alert was canceled Friday morning for a 13-year-old girl from Coconut Creek, a day after it was issued.

According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Stella Mitchell was last seen Wednesday in the 6900 block of Northwest 43rd Terrace.

Police said Stella was wearing a black tank top, red and white spandex bell bottom pants and black, red and white Jordan high tops. She has a nose ring in each nostril and scars on the inside of both arms.

According to police, Stella has since been located and is safe.

No other details were immediately released about her disappearance and recovery.
