MIAMI SPRINGS, Fla. — An alleged repeat thief was arrested in Miami Springs.

According to police, Carlos Fernandez was taken into custody after sneaking into someone’s backyard and stealing their electric scooter.

This may not have been an isolated incident, according to authorities.

Police said Fernandez was also busted by Miami Springs officers several months ago for the same crime.

Additionally, authorities said Fernandez is known throughout the county for perpetrating similar heinous acts.
