MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Surveillance video shows the crash that killed 40-year-old Adam Bravo and his 11-year-old son, Nathan, on Friday along Quail Roost Road in Miami-Dade County.
The video shows when the black Lexus sedan that Bravo was driving struck a gray GMC sports utility vehicle near Southwest 117 Avenue in the South Miami-Heights neighborhood.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel, and Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the crash on Quail Roost Drive, also known as State Road 994.
M-DFR personnel pronounced Bravo dead at the crash scene and used a helicopter to fly Nathan to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, where he later died.
“My sister-in-law lost her husband and her baby boy at the same time, and our family is completely broken,” Angela Rodriguez wrote on a GoFundMe fundraiser page.
