FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Florida Panthers fans were out in force on Sunday, flocking to watch the boys hit the ice during a training camp practice.
“I’d say it’s probably the best team to root for,” said Panthers fan Finnian Walters. “We’re trying to go for a three-peat.”
There was no shortage of Panthers swag, from jerseys to hats, from the seasoned fans to the youngest.
“The panthers are the greatest team possible,” said fan Ori Ashkenazi. “No one can stop them at this point.”
Also at Sunday’s event was the Stanley Cup itself.
Fans were able to take pictures with the historic trophy, which now has the names of the Panthers featured side-by-side.
“It was absolutely amazing, it’s the first time I’ve gotten to see it,” said Panthers fan Jaden Bloom. “I’ve been trying to figure out where it’s been going. Luckily it was here.”
