BSO detectives seek 17-year-old reported missing from Pembroke Pines

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. — Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit asked for the public’s help Monday in locating a 17-year-old boy, who they said has been reported missing for nearly a week.

Authorities identified him as Anthony Gonzalez Tovar.

Deputies said Tovar was last seen around 2:30 p.m. on Sept 30 at Franklin Academy, located at 5000 SW 207th Terrace in Pembroke Pines. His parents reported him missing to BSO’s Weston District deputies.

They said he is about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes. Tovar was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt and blue pants.
