Mayor, first responders unveil real-time operations center in Hialeah A new high-tech hub is coming to the city of Hialeah.

HIALEAH, Fla. — A new high-tech hub is coming to the city of Hialeah.

Mayor Jacqueline Garcia-Roves joined police and fire officials Monday to announce the creation of a “Real-Time Operation Center” designed to help prevent crime and improve response times.

The center is equipped with state-of-the-art technology for video surveillance, communications and data analysis, allowing first responders to coordinate in real time.

Hialeah has more than 300 police officers and 240 firefighters, and leaders say this new system will strengthen their ability to protect residents.

“Our ‘Real-Time Operation Center’ will make our residents feel safer,” Garcia-Roves said. “It will help our police be proactive, not just reactive, and for our fire department, it’s really going to make Hialeah a safer city.”

The mayor says the center will serve as a centralized system, allowing the city to detect risks faster and deploy resources where they’re needed most.
