POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — A shooting in Pompano Beach sent a woman to the hospital on Sunday morning.

It happened just before 8:15 a.m. in the 200 block of Northwest 14th Street.

Broward Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Carey Codd said the woman is expected to survive.

Authorities haven’t said whether detectives have identified any possible suspects.

Codd said BSO’s Special Victims Unit is investigating and asked anyone with information to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
