MIAMI — A man wanted for a Florida murder who was recently spotted in Oklahoma is now behind bars in Miami-Dade County.
Deputies arrested 36-year-old Jesus Jimenez early Thursday morning.
Authorities took him into custody on charges of second-degree murder, robbery with a deadly weapon, sexual battery on a victim between 12-17 years old and engaging in a sex act with a family member/child.
Last Friday, authorities in Tulsa, Oklahoma alerted residents that Jimenez was spotted in the area.
A spokesperson with the Tulsa Police Department said Thursday that officers were able to develop leads to locate Jimenez while working with the U.S. Marshal Service.
Jimenez was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where he will remain after being granted no bond.
