His criminal history is like a receipt, with a long list of burglaries listed among the charges.

On Saturday night, authorities said Byrd, 38, was at the Miami Beach Parking Department, breaking in and ransacking numerous desks while causing about $2,000 in damage.

The offices are located on the second floor of the building at 1755 Meridian Ave.

Police said Byrd even walked into the office of the parking director and drew “spiral designs with horns” on a whiteboard.

Byrd also took out yogurt packets and eggs, smearing them on the walls of the parking department, police said.

According to his arrest form, surveillance video captured Byrd “walking throughout the offices while spraying aerosol cans and attempting to conceal himself with an open umbrella and traffic vest.”

A city-owned iPhone 16 was stolen, along with an employee’s city-issued bank card, police said. A check for fraudulent transactions was conducted, and authorities found a purchase attempt at Friends Food Market.

The arrest form did not indicate how Byrd was able to enter the parking department.
